Are you a passionate and motivated Chemistry Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists? A highly regarded secondary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their thriving Science department on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach engaging, inquiry-based lessons in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

• Deliver Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Foster curiosity and a love of science through practical investigations and creative lesson planning

• Support students’ academic progress and personal development

• Contribute to curriculum planning, department meetings, and enrichment activities

• Play an active role in the wider school community

? Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

? Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and general science

? Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

? Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills

? A genuine passion for science education and inspiring young learners
