Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:

• Teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach KS5 if you have experience and interest in A-Level teaching.




• Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.




• Lead practical experiments and encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.




• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the chemistry curriculum remains dynamic, up-to-date, and inclusive.




• Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school, including science clubs, competitions, and educational trips.




• For experienced teachers, opportunities for mentoring and leadership roles within the department may be available.
