Chemistry Technician

A Chemistry Technician is responsible for maintaining lean, clean and efficient lab environment and for weekly equipment maintenance (HPLCs, freeze-driers, pipettes, balances, pumps). Chemistry Technician will also assist Chemists in synthesis and analysis of products and intermediates as directed by the overall Production Chemistry Schedule.

What you’ll do

• Weekly equipment maintenance (HPLCs, freeze driers, balances, pipettes, pumps)
• Restocking all labs (production and QC) with consumables and work up solvents required (gloves, TLC plates, vials, Pasteur pipettes, brine, sodium bicarbonate etc)
• Assistance in production and analysis of products and intermediates as directed by overall Production Chemistry Schedule
• Liaise with Material’s Team to ensure that reagents and solvents required to complete processes scheduled on Production Chemistry Schedule are available
• Contribute to ensuring and maintaining a lean, clean and efficient environment
• Contributions are made to writing and revising of documented procedures
• Records of work are complete and accurate.
