Chemistry Technician

Location: Kettering, UK
Salary: £23,901-£24,500 + 10% shift allowance
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm)
Closing Date: 20th June 2025

Join our dynamic Chemistry department as a full-time Technician and be part of a collaborative team of 20+ skilled professionals.

You'll work in a well-equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art instruments (IC, GC-FID, HPLC, UV-Vis, GC-MS, LC-MS), performing routine and advanced chemical testing on consumer products.

What You’ll Do

Perform and document chemical tests accurately and efficiently
Maintain analytical equipment
Follow standard procedures within an accredited lab (UKAS)
Support due diligence and certification testing (CE/UKCA)
Adhere to quality and health & safety standards

About You

Essential:

Previous lab experience or strong academic background in science (GCSE or equivalent)
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-driven
Strong communication and time management skills

Desirable:

A-levels or further education in science
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
