What will you be doing?

Training and guidance: Help promote safe working practices and contribute to chemical safety inductions for new colleagues.

What are we looking for?

We're interested in people who have a genuine interest in chemistry, enjoy practical technical work and take pride in getting the details right.

You'll ideally have:

An HNC, GNVQ, degree in Chemistry or a relevant equivalent qualification.
A basic understanding of analytical techniques, such as chromatography and mass spectrometry.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical procedures accurately.
Good organisational skills and confidence maintaining records and documentation.
An awareness of laboratory safety and the importance of handling chemicals correctly.
Good IT and communication skills.

Don't have years of experience? That's absolutely fine. Previous laboratory experience or experience handling hazardous chemicals would be beneficial, but it isn't essential. We welcome applications from suitable candidates with the right qualifications, attitude and willingness to learn.

Interested?

If you have a Chemistry qualification, laboratory experience or a background in chemical processing and want to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
