Chief Executive OfficerWe have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Executive Officer who is passionate about enabling young people to reach their potential to work for an important charity.Position: Chief Executive OfficerLocation: NottinghamHours: Full-timeContract: PermanentSalary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experienceClosing date: 28th June at 5pmAbout the RoleWe are seeking a visionary and commercially minded CEO to lead Base 51. This is an exciting time for Base 51 as we are working with a developer to bring a disused nuclear bunker back into service as a community hub. From this new base, we will operate and grow our services and income, while also providing facilities management. The CEO will provide strategic leadership, drive growth, and enhance our impact. Collaborating with the Board of Trustees, staff, partners, and stakeholders is key to this role.Key responsibilities include:Develop and implement strategic plans.Oversee day-to-day operations and financial management.Build strong relationships with stakeholders.Lead and inspire a high-performing team.Develop fundraising strategies and secure diverse income streams.Key skills and qualities required for this position:Minimum 5 years senior leadership experience in the non-profit or community sector.Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development.Track record of securing sustainable income streams.Strong networking skills with established contacts in Nottingham and the charity sector.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Commercial experience and an entrepreneurial mindset.Passionate about youth development and community engagement.Visionary, resilient, and adaptable.High integrity and commitment to ethical practices.How to applySubmit your CV and a cover letter (maximum three sides of A4) outlining your suitability by 5pm on 28 June 2024.
