A highly successful business is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Hampshire.
Your Role While in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:
Forging strong, influential relationships across the Executive Committee and the wider business to drive alignment and collaboration
Establishing credibility with the Board, owners, and Chairman, positioning yourself as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring strict compliance with reporting deadlines
Taking ownership of identifying, managing, and delivering timely actions that mitigate financial risks and unlock growth opportunities across the organisation
Empowering the business to achieve measurable productivity and efficiency improvements.
Ensuring critical financial decisions are made promptly and communicated clearly to stakeholders
Providing insightful financial guidance on investment cases and implement rigorous benefits tracking
Leading the development of high-quality, insightful reporting and robust forecasting processes that offer early visibility of deviations from expectations, establishing a reliable financial rhythm within planning and reporting cycles
Circulating Board materials before each meeting that are comprehensive and well-crafted
Implementing rigorous financial controls and streamlining accounting processes that safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
Overseeing the timely delivery of all statutory and tax reporting requirements across the business
Attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier finance talent, embedding succession planning and cultivating a high-performing, collaborative, and aspirational team culture
You MUST Have Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Extensive experience within finance and management, with proven success in leading a finance function, and development staff
Commercially astute with experience in partnering with executive management in a fast-moving business environment
Strong knowledge of cash & working capital
Preferably exposure to a private equity backed business
