As theyscale, they’re seeking a talented and experienced CISO to lead theinformation security program.


The Role


In this critical role, you will be responsible for building and implementing a best-in-class information security program from the ground up. You will be a strategic leader, partnering with the executive team to ensure security is at the forefront of everything we do.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (FCA, GDPR etc.).

  • Design and oversee the implementation of security controls to protect our IT infrastructure, data, and applications.

  • Establish and manage a high-performing information security team.

  • Foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across all departments to ensure security considerations are integrated into business processes.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with external security vendors.

  • Qualifications


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of building and implementing information security programs in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

  • Experience working within the FinTech industry is a strong plus.

  • Possesses relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA etc.) and a deep understanding of information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001 etc.).

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
