Chief of Staff, Series A Investment, 6-month FTC, COR7261

An experienced Chief of Staff is required on an initial 6-month fixed term contract, to support the exec team of an innovative Medtech company during their series A investment round.

Working closely to support the CEO, the Chief of Staff will shortlist and screen potential investors, coordinate meetings, take responsibility for investor engagement tracking and updates to pitch material. Additionally, the Chief of staff will use their experience of commercial best practice to identify and drive operational efficiencies and implement processes. As well as these key projects, the Chief of Staff will act as a bridge between the executive and the rest of the organisation, whilst also overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

The Company

The Chief of Staff be joining an established Oxford-university spinout, paving the way in the diagnosis of neurological disease. The Chief of Staff will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern in place is full-time on-site in the Oxford office, but there is some flexibility available for the right candidate.

What’s Required?

• Significant experience supporting executive teams in a Chief of staff or equivalent position
• Specific experience of supporting investment rounds
• Demonstrable experience of identifying and driving operational efficiency gains and implementing processes
• Broader experience across areas such as HR, Quality and Legal would be advantageous
