This is a board-level appointment where you'll work closely with the Chairman to deliver sustainable growth, improve organisational performance and lead large-scale operational and digital change. A pharmaceutical background is essential, and experience within clinical trials would be highly advantageous.

Your responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer

Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic objectives and translate vision into measurable operational outcomes
Lead organisation-wide transformation, continuous improvement and digital innovation programmes
Drive operational excellence across multiple business functions while improving efficiency, quality and customer outcomes
Establish robust governance, risk management and performance frameworks supported by meaningful business intelligence
Develop senior leaders, strengthen organisational capability and align resources with business priorities
Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance while supporting sustainable long-term growth
What we're looking for in a Chief Operating Officer

Essential background within the pharmaceutical industry, with clinical trials experience highly advantageous
Proven ability to lead business transformation, operational improvement and strategic change
Strong commercial and financial understanding with experience translating strategy into operational delivery
Experience leading digital transformation and implementing technology to improve business performance
Strong knowledge of governance, regulatory compliance and operational risk management within a regulated environment
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday with hybrid working.
