The Chief Operating Officer is a key member of the Executive Team and the Trust Board, responsible for the delivery of the Trusts operational objectives. The post holder will contribute to the developing and implementation of corporate strategies, policies and business plans, including the development of a culture of high quality personalised care. The post holder is responsible for the development of the clinical directorate leadership teams, managing the delivery of efficient, high quality patient services with accountability for the achievement of the key clinical and operational performance activity standards. They will demonstrate excellent leadership and the culture that supports, recruits, nurtures, develops and retains a compassionate, skilled and flexible team.
