Children’s Registered Manager
  • Annual Salary: £50,500 (rising to £56,500 based on tenure)
  • Location: St Helens & Formby
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Registered Manager to join our team, providing crucial support to disadvantaged and vulnerable children who have experienced past trauma. This role is instrumental in helping young people overcome challenges related to alcohol and substance misuse, child sexual exploitation, missing from care, challenging behaviour, and self-harm.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the operation of a service that supports young people, ensuring all Children’s Homes Regulations and the nine Quality Care Standards are met.
  • Lead and inspire a team dedicated to supporting young people to reach their full potential and achieve positive outcomes in personal, educational, and social aspects.
  • Implement strategies and practices that promote a safe and effective environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the service, making necessary adjustments to enhance care and support.
  • Engage with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support and resources are available for the young people.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People.
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Proven experience managing in a residential setting.
  • A passionate and driven individual committed to making a positive change in the lives of vulnerable young people.

This role offers a progressive salary increase, starting at £50,500 annually, with an increase to £53,500 after probation and reaching up to £56,500 after two years of service.
