Children’s Social Worker – CAT Team

Lambeth Council is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join the CAT Team within Children’s Social Care.

The role involves managing a complex caseload, undertaking assessments, care planning and safeguarding enquiries, and working collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies. You will also contribute to child protection, looked-after children and care proceedings work, including court reports and professional recommendations.

Key requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration

*

Strong experience in statutory children’s social care

*

Experience managing complex safeguarding and child protection cases

*

Excellent assessment, report-writing and multi-agency working skills

*

Ability to work autonomously while using supervision effectively
