A chance to shape a home, a team, and long-term outcomes from day one.The role As Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD), Meridian Business Support are recruiting on behalf of an established care provider expanding into children’s residential services. This is a newly refurbished, Ofsted-ready home where you will shape the service, culture, and team from the ground up.
In this Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD) position, you will:
Oversee the day-to-day running of a two-bed EBD home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations Lead on registration, policies, procedures, and inspection readiness Build, develop, and manage a stable, high-performing care team Deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for young people with emotional and behavioural needs Ensure safeguarding is embedded in all practices and standards remain “Good” or “Outstanding” Develop strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionalsSkills and experience To succeed as a Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD), you’ll need:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People’s Services) Proven experience managing or setting up EBD or similar residential settings Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks, compliance, and inspections Confident leadership skills with the ability to build teams and work autonomouslyBenefits and progression This Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD) role offers more than just a salary.
