Children's Home Registered Manager

A well-established, values-led children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced and committed OFSTED Registered Manager to lead a newly opened home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs.

Role Highlights:

• Lead the operational delivery of a new children's home
• Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and OFSTED standards
• Foster a safe, high-quality, child-centred care environment
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance management
• Maintain robust safeguarding, care planning, and health & safety procedures
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rota

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 minimum; Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
• Eligible to register with OFSTED as a Registered Manager
• Strong knowledge of OFSTED standards and children’s residential care legislation
• Experience managing in a children’s residential setting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies
• IT literate and physically able for manual handling

Desirable:

• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and take part in the on-call rota
