Childrens Home Registered Manager

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for
the overall leadership, management, and development of a children’s residential
home. Your duties will include:

• Leading
  and inspiring a team to deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes for children.
  
• Ensuring
  the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted, Children’s Homes
  Regulations, and Quality Standards.
  
• Creating
  a safe, nurturing, and homely environment that promotes children’s
  emotional, physical, and educational development.
  
• Developing
  and implementing individualised care plans and risk assessments.
  
• Providing
  ongoing supervision, support, and development opportunities for your staff
  team.
  
• Maintaining
  high standards of record -keeping and accountability.
  
• Building
  strong partnerships with local authorities, professionals, and families.
  
• Promoting
  a culture of continuous improvement, therapeutic care, and
  child -centred practice.
  
• Preparing
  for and managing Ofsted inspections, ensuring readiness at all times.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A minimum
  of 5 years’ experience working in a role relevant to the residential
  care of children.
  
• At
  least 2 years’ experience supervising or managing staff within a
  children’s home or similar setting.
  
• NVQ
  Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
  
• Level
  5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
  
• A
  proven track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings.
  
• Excellent
  knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children’s residential
  care standards.
  
• Strong
  leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  
• The
  ability to inspire, motivate, and lead by example to create a safe and
  nurturing home environment.
