Job Description - Children's Registered Home Manager
Regional Manager (Children's Residential)
Location: North West England (with travel across the region) Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + annual performance bonus

Successful Candidates Will Have
A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience within residential childcare. Proven multi-site management experience with a track record of improving services and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or willingness to complete). Extensive experience in staff leadership, performance management and financial management. In-depth knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Confidence using systems, data and structured processes. A supportive, calm and coaching leadership style. A strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices. Full UK Driving Licence.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Provide operational oversight of specialist children's homes across the North West region. Lead, support and develop a team of Registered Managers. Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance across all services. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and achieve the best possible outcomes for young people and local authorities. Manage budgets and ensure effective financial performance across the region. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, professional bodies and stakeholders. Champion a therapeutic, child-centred approach to care, promoting high warmth and high control practices. Support services with challenging placements and drive positive change and service development. Monitor performance, quality standards and compliance to ensure outstanding service delivery.
