Children's Registered Manger / Children`s Care Home

Daytime Healthcare are working with a great modern Children`s Residential Home who are seeking a Registered Manager to join the team. They could also consider Deputy Children's Manager who wish to progress into a Registered Manager role.

As a Registered Manager you’ll be responsible for;

• Ensuring that Ofsted standards are being met
• Management of the home’s budget and expenditure
• Responsible for Safeguarding and Child protection
• Develop quality assurance systems
• Deliver effective leadership to the staff team, that promotes a positive culture of open practice
• Ensuring the staff rota is effective

What we’re looking for

• It is ESSENTIAL that you have experience of being a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager of a Children’s Home previously. Manager who can demonstrate a sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations
• Experience of working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties
• You’ll demonstrate a sound understanding of Ofsted requirements
• At least 2 years management experience in a children’s residential setting, within the last 5 years.
• QCF level 5 or equivalent in Leadership and Management for Social care (Children and Young People) or be willingness to complete this within 1st year of employment
