Children's Residential Support Worker - Burton upon Trent
Salary: £30,700 per annum
Shift Pattern: 1 day on (08:00 - 22:30) with a sleep-in, followed by 2 days off
Location: Burton upon Trent

We are proud to be working with our client in their search for a dedicated and compassionate Children’s Residential Support Worker to join their well-established team within a specialist EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home based in Burton upon Trent.

What the Role Involves:

• Providing day-to-day care, support, and guidance to children and young people aged 8-17 with EBD
• Building strong, trusting relationships to promote emotional resilience and personal development
• Supporting with education, activities, appointments, and daily routines
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents in line with safeguarding and care plans
• Working as part of a consistent and supportive team to deliver high-quality residential childcare

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting is desirable
• A passion for making a positive impact on young people’s lives
• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Flexibility and resilience to work within a rolling shift pattern of 1 day on (08:00-22:30) followed by a sleep-in and 2 days off
