Location: Oldham

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £13.63 per hour + £55 per sleep-in shift

Shifts: 24-hour and day shifts on a rota basis

Join our client's dedicated team at a Children's Residential Home in Oldham and help transform futures for children with emotional and behavioural needs. The home is a solo home, so its a real opportunity to provide 1:1 care!

What You'll Do as Children's Support Worker here:

- Provide nurturing emotional and physical support in a structured and safe environment

- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people

- Encourage positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches

- Support educational, social, and recreational development

- Handle day-to-day routines-from meals and transport to appointments

- Work closely with colleagues and professionals to deliver consistent care

- Contribute to a culture that prioritises teamwork and child-focused outcomes

What We're Looking For in a Children's Support Worker:

- Genuine passion for working with children and young people

- Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Flexibility to work shifts, including 24-hour cover and weekends

- Full UK driving licence required

- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or willingness to work towards it)

- Experience in a similar setting is a strong advantage
