Chiller Engineer

Our client is a well-established specialist in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, with over 50 years of industry experience.

They are looking for an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to join their field-based engineering team, covering the South of England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing a range of commercial and industrial chiller and HVAC systems. The role will also involve technical troubleshooting, project support and dilapidation reporting.

There is currently a 1 in 19 call-out rota.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintain and commission commercial and industrial chiller and HVAC systems.

* Diagnose and repair refrigeration, mechanical and electrical faults.

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.

* Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigeration cycles and control systems.

* Attend breakdowns and resolve technical issues.

* Complete accurate service reports and documentation.

* Provide technical support to clients and colleagues.

* Assist with technical projects, troubleshooting and dilapidation reports.

* Work safely and in line with relevant regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

* Previous experience working with chiller equipment.

* Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC and chiller systems.

* F-Gas certification – essential.

* Relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Self-motivated and able to work independently.

* Full UK driving licence.
