HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter across the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Maritime Shipping, Energy, Subsea and technical engineering sectors. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established organisation within the commercial HVAC and cooling industry.

This is a field-based position carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair commercial and industrial chillers.

*

Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.

*

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

*

Commission and start up HVAC and chiller equipment where required.

*

Use technical drawings, specifications and diagnostic equipment to identify faults.

*

Attend customer sites and take ownership of works through to completion.

*

Complete service reports and associated technical documentation.

*

Identify additional remedial works and equipment requirements.

*

Liaise professionally with customers and internal service teams.

*

Work safely and in accordance with company and industry procedures.

Requirements

*

Previous experience working as a Chiller Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Service Engineer.

*

Strong experience servicing and fault finding on commercial/industrial chillers.

*

Good understanding of refrigeration systems, controls and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.

*

F-Gas qualification.

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

Comfortable working independently at customer sites.

*

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Package

£40,000 – £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
