CI Engineer

My client is seeking an experienced CI/Process Engineer. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading continuous improvement initiatives, and managing technical projects in a process environment.

Description

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing department.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams made up of internal colleagues and contractors.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to address these.
• Provide training and coaching to team members on continuous improvement methodologies.
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies.

Profile

A successful CI Engineer should have:

• A degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with CI tools such as Kaizen, SMED, route cause analysis, etc.
• Experience using data analysis to identify and solve technical problems.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Experience in leading and managing technical projects.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
