Citrix Engineer

Job Description

We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are recruiting Citrix Administrators and design and implementation engineers to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT in the Utilities and Energy sector.

Please note that this role requires SC clearance eligibility.

Role: Citrix Administrator / Designed and implementation Engineer
Location: Reading Area, UK
Style: Hybrid – 2/3 days onsite
Rate: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months (initially)

Experience of working effectively both individually and as part of highly productive teams in an

Infrastructure/Application

ITIL based support environment
Appreciation of business-critical real-time systems
Strong verbal and written skills
Candidate must be able to pass background vetting process.
Candidate must be able to achieve SC security vetting clearance.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

All aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of all production Citrix systems.
Supports Citrix VDI and VDA solutions for applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
Make architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environments.
Maintenance/monitoring/upgrading/troubleshooting

and daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in Citrix.
Support as an expert by providing advice on all matters relating to Citrix systems.
Plan, direct, and control the activities of the various internal projects as well as those of our clients.
Implementation and operations of the Department's Citrix based systems across the Department, including installation, integration and maintenance, performance tuning.
