Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Development | Immediate Start

Location: Essex based, full time on site

We are urgently seeking a Civil Engineer with strong client-side experience to support the expansion of a major infrastructure site. This is a high-impact role working directly with senior engineering leadership to deliver complex, large-scale development projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coordination of third-party suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
• Collaborate with internal teams (planning, legal, estates, environment) to drive project delivery.
• Oversee civil and building works, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
• Manage budgets, contractor claims, and project milestones.
• Conduct site setting out, surveying, and material tracking.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals and contracts.
• Liaise with stakeholders and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure health & safety compliance across all activities.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in infrastructure projects – ideally construction, civil engineering, port, or industrial environments.
• Strong project management and procurement skills.
• Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, or industrial development is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Willingness to travel to project sites.
