The Role

As a Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Working within an experienced and supportive team, you'll contribute to projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities of this civil infrastructure engineer role include:

Design of highways in accordance with relevant standards (e.g. Section 38, Section 278)
Preparation of drainage strategies and detailed drainage design (including SuDS)
Production of technical drawings, specifications, and design calculations
Liaising with local authorities, statutory consultees, and clients
Supporting planning applications and technical approvals
Attending project and client meetingsAbout You:

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Experience in highways and drainage design within a consultancy environment
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage)
Working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes
Strong communication and organisational skills
Progressing towards or already achieved professional chartership (ICE or similar) desirableWhat They Offer
