This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with 3+ years' experience who is working towards Chartered status and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.The successful candidate will be involved in projects from initial concept through to completion, working closely with experienced engineers to deliver practical, innovative, and cost-effective engineering solutions for a broad range of clients. Key Responsibilities: · Undertake civil engineering design for a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects. · Prepare designs for drainage, roads, external works, utilities and associated site infrastructure, where relevant. · Produce technical calculations, reports, drawings, specifications and other design documentation. · Coordinate design information with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other members of the project team. · Liaise directly with clients, statutory authorities and external stakeholders. · Attend site visits, inspections and project meetings. · Assist with resolving technical issues during the design and construction stages. · Support the delivery of projects in line with agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards. · Manage elements of smaller projects, with support from senior engineers. · Continue professional development and work towards Chartered Engineer status. Essential Criteria: · A degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. · Approximately 2–4 years’ experience within a civil engineering consultancy or similar design environment. · Experience contributing to civil engineering projects through the design and construction stages. · Proficiency in AutoCAD. · Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. · The ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation. · Strong communication, organisation and design coordination skills. · A commitment to progressing towards Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution.
