Location: Sheffield - Covering Yorkshire Region

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Role

The company are seeking a reliable and experienced Civils Operative to support their growing infrastructure projects.

This role involves carrying out high-quality utility reinstatements and paving works, including the installation of modular paving, granite setts, concrete, and bituminous materials. You will work across a range of public realm and construction environments, ensuring that reinstatement activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out paving and modular reinstatement works to specification
• Completing reinstatements in york stone, granite, and block paving
• Ensuring all work complies with specification, safety standards, and permit conditions
• Working alongside utility contractors to deliver timely, high-quality reinstatements
• Supporting minor civils work as required, including kerbing and excavation
• Safely operating relevant plant and machinery on site

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in utility reinstatement and paving
• CSCS card

Desirable:

• NRSWA accreditation (Street Works)
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Plant tickets (dumper, roller, excavator)
• 7.5t Category Licence
