Civils Project Manager

Bridgeman Recruitment Services (BRS) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civils Project Manager to join a major civil engineering contractor in South Wales.

Our client is a specialist civil engineering main contractor delivering structural repairs, waterproofing, expansion joints, cathodic protection, and temporary works. As part of one of Europe's largest construction groups, the company offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and in line with the project programme.

* Plan and schedule works, coordinating labour, subcontractors, and resources.

* Complete material take-offs and place orders through Head Office.

* Ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place and complete all required health and safety documentation.

* Maintain accurate site records and complete contractor and project paperwork.

* Monitor costs and liaise closely with the Commercial team.

* Manage project information systems and document control.

* Ensure works are completed to the correct drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

* Liaise effectively with the principal contractor, client, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

* Demonstrable project management experience on civil engineering sites.

* Strong planning, organisational, commercial, and communication skills.

* Experience managing health and safety, technical documentation, and site records.

* Valid SMSTS certification.

* Valid First Aid at Work certification.

* Valid CSCS Manager-level card or higher.
