Civils Site Engineer

Apex M&E Solutions is recruiting a Civils Site Engineer for an established construction and civil engineering contractor delivering clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland.

You’ll work closely with site colleagues, subcontractors, clients and the wider support team, helping translate designs into accurately delivered works.

This opportunity suits an engineer with two to five years’ relevant experience who wants to develop their site delivery skills within the water and utilities sector.

What you’ll do

Read and interpret construction drawings, communicating layouts and measurements to site teams.

Carry out setting out and establish accurate lines, levels and reference points.

Support progress against the construction programme and help meet project deadlines.

Build effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Work with colleagues to maintain safety, quality and environmental standards.

*

Apply company procedures and share relevant industry guidance and good practice.

What you’ll bring

A degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant industry qualification.

*

Two to five years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within water or utilities.

*

Strong numeracy, with confidence using Excel and Outlook.

*

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

*

Relevant valid site cards and a full driving licence.

*

A practical, collaborative approach and a willingness to take responsibility for your work.
