Claims Adjuster Reinsurance

Eames is working exclusively with a market-leading Lloyd's Syndicate on the appointment of a Claims Adjuster within the Reinsurance Claims team. This position will be primarily responsible for managing a varied caseload of property and casualty reinsurance claims. This includes working closely with the underwriting team to report on loss ratios, with the support from a Senior Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities:

·Work with cedants on claims issues when needed, as well as communicating with brokers and other parties to aid in the claims adjusting process

·Handle claims from notification through to settlement within the position's agreed caseload, including requesting additional information from brokers where necessary, and applying reserving policies

·Identify and select essential and relevant information to prepare comprehensive reports which can be provided to Claims Team Leaders and Underwriters

·Maintain and develop great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Key Experience:

·Experience adjusting reinsurance claims is preferred but not required, but this individual must have prior experience adjusting claims
