Job Description - Claims Data Analyst

A Company That Matters

Insurance exists to support people at their most vulnerable – after loss, illness, or crisis. Yet too often, the systems behind it fail when they're needed most. ClaimSorted is fixing that.

ClaimSorted is rebuilding how insurance claims get handled. We run the entire claims operation for insurers – a model called Third-Party Administration (TPA), in a ~$200B industry that has barely changed in decades. We pair a world-class in-house claims team with an AI-native platform to deliver faster resolutions, better outcomes, and a fundamentally more humane experience for policyholders.

Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo, we've raised $15M+ and already manage claims for over $200M in insurance premium across 50+ partners, including more than five publicly traded companies. The traction is real. The mission is urgent. And we're just getting started.

The Role

Every month, some of the largest insurers in the world rely on ClaimSorted to provide accurate reporting data to support their operations.

As a Claims Data Analyst, you'll own that reporting. Your mission is simple: ensure reporting to our insurance partners is accurate and timely. You will play a critical role in keeping the insurance industry running smoothly

Success means:

  • All reports are delivered on the 1st working day of each month

  • Zero reporting errors or data discrepancies

  • Great NPS and feedback from our insurance partners

Responsibilities

  • Own reporting delivery end-to-end for insurance partners

  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies

  • Build reporting processes and controls that improve accuracy and scalability

  • Partner with engineering and operations to improve data quality and automation

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance reporting, insurance analytics, claims analytics, or a similar role

  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills

  • Strong understanding of insurance reporting, including claims, underwriting, reinsurance, or bordereaux

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a bias for finding root causes

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary beyond the industry standard

  • Generous, transparent equity participation

  • Skilled Worker visa sponsorship in the UK

  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • 30 days of remote work annually

  • Health insurance

  • Pension contributions in line with UK auto-enrolment requirements

  • Company offsites
