We’re actively recruiting for a Claims Handler to join a specialist team in a unique commercial insurance sector. Whether you come from property, motor, or liability claims, this is your chance to expand your skillset in a specialised area of claims where opportunities are rare!

Claims Handler Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end insurance claims within a specialist sector, making accurate decisions in line with policy wordings.
• Assess and investigate claims by reviewing tribunal papers, HR advice logs, and other supporting documents to determine coverage and liability.
• Work closely with clients, policyholders, third parties, and intermediary consultants to keep claims moving smoothly.
• Handle requests for settlement contributions, supporting negotiations with clear and well-informed coverage advice.
• Set reserves in line with company guidelines and make sure all claim information is recorded accurately.
• Manage a varied caseload, staying organised and keeping on top of changing priorities.
• Keep clients updated throughout the process and make sure they’re treated fairly and professionally.
• Work with internal teams to help resolve claims and suggest ways to improve how things are done.
