Job Title: Claims Handler

Location: Bradford City Centre

Salary: £28k-£35 DOE + excellent benefits

Type: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: 9am-5.30pm – 1 hour unpaid lunch break

A well established and highly regarded organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Claims Handler to join its growing team in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong claims background who enjoys managing cases from initial notification through to resolution. The successful candidate will join a supportive, professional team with genuine opportunities for development and progression.

The Role -

You will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury claims, working closely with insurers, clients, experts and third parties to achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include -

* Managing personal injury claims from instruction through to settlement

* Handling liability

* Communicating with claimants, solicitors, experts, insurers and statutory bodies

* Maintaining accurate claims, reserve and risk information

* Working within agreed client and procedural guidelines

* Providing a high standard of customer service throughout the claims process

* Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For -

* Claims experience within any of the following - Motor claims, Road traffic accident claims, Serious injury claims, Insurance claims handling, EL/PL claims

* Experience using claims management systems/portals

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
