Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
We proud to represent a well-established, traditional commercial insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team in Shrewsbury.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage insurance claims for our commercial clients
Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other relevant parties
Ensure claims are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations
Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients
Identify potential issues and escalate complex claims when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial insurance claims handling
Excellent knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) preferred
Experience with paper-based systems and Acturis software
Comfortable working with both traditional and digital processes
