Claims Handler - Law Firm

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Claims Handler to manage complaints, handle claims and liaise with insurers to ensure timely and accurate solutions. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of legal and insurance processes and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

The Role:

• Assessing and managing a caseload of claims, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution within deadlines.
• Investigating claims thoroughly, gathering all relevant evidence and documentation.
• Responding to complaints received by the firm professionally and efficiently.
• Resolving disputes effectively and escalate complex matters when necessary.
• Collaborating with internal legal teams to ensure claims are aligned with regulatory and policy requirements.

To Qualify:

• Must have more than 5 years of experience in claims handling, ideally within a law firm or insurance environment.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures and relevant legal principles.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet and other legal research tools.
• Professional demeanour and the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders.
