Job Description:

An established independent insurance broker based in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Claims Professional to join its growing and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and client-focused environment where your skills and expertise will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end claims process across various commercial and personal lines.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims journey, providing clear guidance and updates.

• Liaise effectively with insurers, loss adjusters, and other third parties to ensure timely and fair claim settlements.

• Assist account handlers and executives with claims-related queries.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company and regulatory standards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of claims processes and client service delivery.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an insurance claims handling role, ideally within a brokerage environment.

• Strong understanding of commercial and/or personal lines insurance.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proactive, organised, and client-focused approach.

• Familiarity with insurance systems (e.g., Acturis) is an advantage.
