What we're looking for:

• 5+ years experience in Income Protection Claims or Personal Lines.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and internal claims systems.
• Confident in making complex decisions and interpreting medical, financial and employment documentation.

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience in other types of health or protection insurance.
• Understand FCA regulations and data protection requirements.

What you'll be doing:

• Review and assess new and ongoing income protection claims, ensuring accuracy and sensitivity.
• Communicate with members with compassion and professionalism, clearly explaining decisions and managing expectations.
• Work closely with medical professionals, employers and internal teams to gather evidence and ensure claims are fair and thorough.
• Share your knowledge with colleagues, mentor junior team members and lead case discussions.
• Contribute to service improvements and process enhancements across the claims function.
