HGV Class 1 ADR Hooklift Driver

Location: Wolverhampton, WV1
Job Type: Full-Time, temp to perm
Pay: £18.60 per hour
Guaranteed Minimum: 50 hours per week
Start Time: 04:30 until finish
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Hooklift Driver to join our team in Wolverhampton.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a minimum of 50 hours per week paid at a rate of £18.60 per hour, with an early start time of 04:30 until finish.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating Class 1 Hooklift vehicles safely and efficiently.

* Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.

* Completing deliveries and collections in a safe and professional manner.

* Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.

* Ensuring compliance with drivers' hours and transport legislation.

* Communicating effectively with the depot and transport team.

* Maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

* Valid Driver CPC.

* Valid ADR licence.

* Current Digital Tachograph Card.

* Minimum 1 year of professional HGV driving experience.

* Be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.

* Good knowledge of Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.

* Previous Hooklift experience is preferred.

* A strong commitment to safe and professional driving.
