Class 1 Driver

LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 Driver to join the team! You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.

Salary:

• £14.41 / hour basic, guaranteed 50 hours
• £18.84 / Sundays and Bank Holidays, guaranteed minimum hours

LV Logistics are a market leader in the shipping and transport industry, with 11 UK offices and many others in strategic locations across the globe.

Key responsibilities of our Class 1 Driver:

• Collections and deliveries around the UK in one of our 44tonne artic vehicles
• Follow specific job instructions and complete all the relevant paperwork
• Conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness - ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, and current Vehicle and Tachograph legislation

What we are looking for in our Class 1 Driver:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Full drivers CPC.
• Previous experience not necessarily what we are looking for, we want the right person to join the team
• Must be willing to ‘tramp’ as some nights out required
• To be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ambitious, organised and driven
• The ability to build relationships with customers
• Workload is generally Monday to Friday with weekend work sporadic and optional
• ADR licence would be ideal too, but if not, we are happy to put you through the training
