Class 1 Driver

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular, ongoing work with weekly shift patterns and plenty of hours available.

Shift Patterns

Monday to Friday or 4-on/4-off
Various start times available
Drivers must be flexible within a 2-hour start time window
Afternoon starts offer the most regular work
Weekly schedules providedPay Rates (PAYE)

Monday to Friday - £19.00 per hour
Saturday - £20.00 per hour
Sunday - £21.00 per hourThe Role

Class 1 curtain-sided deliveries
Delivering to supermarket distribution centres
Collections and return loads
Predominantly general haulage
Typically completing multiple deliveries before returning to site
Some deliveries where use of a PPT may be requiredRequirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Comfortable with curtain-sided trailer work
Able to operate a PPT when requiredAssessments

Before your first shift, you'll complete a paid driving assessment with the client's driving trainer
