M4 Specialist is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Wagon & Drag Driver to join a well-established building materials supplier based in Doncaster.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, professional driver looking for ongoing work, a varied working week and the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role of a Class 1 Wagon & Drag Driver

* Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 5:30am–6:00am starts, carrying out local Class 2 driving duties while being paid at the Class 1 rate.

* Thursday: Early 4:00am start, travelling to Scotland with one night out required.

* Friday: Return journey from Scotland.

* Deliveries involve building materials, with the role primarily focused on driving.

* Ensure deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.

* Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records.

What We’re Looking For from a Class 1 Wagon & Drag Driver

To be considered for this position, you must have:

* A valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.

* A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification.

* A valid digital tachograph card.

* Previous Class 1 driving experience, ideally including Wagon & Drag vehicles.

* A professional attitude and a strong commitment to safe driving.

* Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.

* The flexibility to undertake one night out per week.
