Class 1 Driver - DAYS

We are recruiting reliable Class 1 HGV Day Drivers for ongoing work. Drivers will deliver concrete building products from a manufacturing facility to builders' merchants, major construction sites, and occasionally residential properties using modern Volvo, DAF, and Scania articulated and drawbar vehicles.

What we’re looking for:

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

* ALLMI Brick & Block qualification preferred

* Standard Class 1 drivers also considered, with the opportunity to gain ALLMI qualification at company expense for committed long-term candidates

* Professional, safety-conscious attitude and good customer service skills

Shift Pattern:

* Monday to Friday

* Start times typically between 05:00–06:00

* Average shift length: 10–12 hours

* No weekends, bank holidays, or planned nights out

Pay & Benefits:

* £18.18 per hour for the first 48 hours

* Overtime paid at 1.3x rate

* Pay rates due to increase by 3.5% (to be backdated)

* Ongoing temporary positions with potential opportunities for permanent employment for successful drivers
