Class 1 HGV Driver

Vibe Recruit is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a busy and well-established distribution operation in the Blackwood area.

This is a Monday to Friday position offering consistent hours with no weekend work, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking a regular work pattern.

Pay Rate: £15.74 per h

Shift Pattern :

Shift A: 5:00am - 3:00pm
Shift B: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Shift C: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Shift D: 10:00am - 9:00pm
10-hour shifts
Day shifts with varying start times to support operational requirementsKey Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicle in line with all road traffic legislation and company procedures.
Carry out shunting and trailer movements around the site, ensuring vehicles are positioned safely and efficiently.
Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
Ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
Communicate effectively with the transport team, warehouse staff and shift supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
Follow all site Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work.
Represent the business professionally at all times, maintaining high standards of driving and customer service where required.
Support the wider transport operation with additional driving duties as required.Requirements

Valid Class 1 HGV licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
A professional and reliable approach to work.
