Class 1 HGV Driver NIGHTS

MKD Recruit are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 NIGHT Drivers to join a growing client, a pallet distribution company at their site in ELY, Cambridgeshire.

This is a Night JOB. Meaning you will be driving in the dark, so scaredy cats need not apply. You will be taking a pre-loaded trailer of varied goods on Pallets to a HUB, the client goes to 3 different hubs south and Midlands based.

Re-load at the HUB and return to base, typically a 1900 hrs start with an 0600 finish. Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

* Operate a curtain sided HGV Class 1

* Plan routes effectively while adhering to legal driving hours

* Conduct daily vehicle inspections

* Operate the proof of delivery EPA system properly (training given)

Requirements:

* Valid UK HGV Class 1 driving licence

* Up-to-date CPC and DIGI Card

* Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience

* A reliable and punctual work ethic

* A maximum of 6 points (Must NOT include: IN10, DD, DR or DG)
