Class 1 LGV Driver

Schenk UK Ltd formally known as Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.

​The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Tanker Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at Runcorn, working a ​Monday to Friday days/tramper You will be responsible for delivery of gases on the behalf of our customer Air Liquide.

​Pay Rates:

• £52,612.79 per annum

• 9.6 hours guarantee per shift worked

• Basic rate for overtime applicable after 9.6

• Weekend day payment £55.00

• £40.00 per night out

• £6.00 Meal allowance per shift

• £21.04 – Night shift payment – per shift

Essential Requirements:

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points

• A tachograph card

• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7

• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation

• A safety focus

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience

• Minimum 2 years Tanker experience

• Minimum 2 years ADR experience
