Class 1 Night Shunter 
Location: Northampton
Pay Rate: £20.68 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Night Shift)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our logistics team as a Night Shunter in Northampton. In this role, you will be responsible for moving trailers around the yard efficiently and safely, maintaining site flow, and supporting our nighttime warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely moving Class 1 trailers between yard bays and loading docks.
Carrying out daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment checks.
Communicating effectively with the yard management and warehouse teams.
Ensuring all site safety guidelines and speed limits are strictly adhered to.

Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience, or 1 year of relevant experience in retail driving.
Licence: Full UK C+E Driving Licence with zero points (clean licence required).
Certifications: Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working consistent night shifts.

Assessment & Induction Process
Day 1: 1-day driving and yard assessment.
Days 2 & 3: 2-day paid site induction upon successful assessment
