Rate: £300 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 6-Month Ongoing Contract
Hours: Full-Time

Vox Consultants are recruiting for an experienced Registered Building Inspector to join a Local Authority in West London on a 6-month ongoing contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Building Inspector to work on a varied portfolio of projects, carrying out inspections, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, and providing high-quality technical advice.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
Produce accurate and detailed inspection reports following site visits.
Assess building work and identify any areas requiring remedial action.
Provide professional advice to contractors, developers, architects, and members of the public.
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure projects progress efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislation, policies, and best practice.About You:

Registration as a Registered Building Inspector (RBI).
Previous experience working within Building Control, ideally in a Local Authority setting.
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Experience carrying out site inspections and producing detailed technical reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
