Class 1 Trunking Driver

Prism 7 Resourcing are seeking multiple professional and reliable Class 1 Trunking Drivers to join our client’s team in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, primarily using flatbed lorries for commercial deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on delivering high standards of service and safety. The position involves driving across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle integrity throughout shifts.

Key responsibilities

Pay Rates:

Days (06:00AM – 22:00PM) – £16.98ph

Nights (22:00PM – 06:00AM) -£22.64ph

Overtime is also paid at the following rates:

Days overtime – £22.59ph

Nights overtime – £ £28.25ph

Trunking deliveries to locations including Newcastle, Preston, Leeds, Hinckley, Letchworth, Croydon, Swansea, Exeter and more, with most routes involving a return to Birmingham.

Requirements

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

* Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

* Safety boots/shoes (no rigger boots)

* Hi-vis clothing
