Class 2 Driver

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a new challenge? If so, this role could be for you!

Working alongside our dispatch and transport teams, you will be driving a modern vehicle for a professional organisation.

The Main Responsibilities of a Class 2 Driver include;

Operating a Class 2 vehicle for Multi Drop Deliveries from our Worley Depot of Both Carcass and Boxed Meat Products.

Working Monday to Friday 06.00-14.00/To finish

• Assist in the completion of loading, accurately and secure
• Carry out Pre and post trip Vehicle Inspections, ensuring road worthiness and regulatory compliance
• Completion of all required paperwork
• Prompt reporting of vehicle issues
• Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and colleagues in relation to any delays or issues
• Report any vehicle issues promptly
• Uphold high standards of customer service

It is essential you have;

• A full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
• Class 2 Licence with a minimum of 6 months experience
• Flexible outlook on working hours
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Good understand of Driver regulations and working directive regulations
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to deal with a manual handling role
• Good communication
• Experience in a fast-paced transport environment
• Flexibility with working hours and reliability
• Good literacy
• Good timekeeping and attendance
